Banff Ptarmigan Inn

Close to EVERYTHING. Comfortable bed. Super staff.

The facilities are great, clean and staff quite friendly and helpful with any questions, directions and suggestions. The location is among the best of locations you can be in, in Banff, just a minute or two walk away and you're among all the shops and restaurants in Banff town with access to the their very efficient bus system - one of the best local bus systems I've ever encountered that wasn't in a larger city. I ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel on multiple days and the offerings were fantastic. The elk and wild boar meatball pasta was a highlight!

Great Location: The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to access nearby attractions and hiking trails. Big Parking Lot: Ample parking space is available, which is very convenient. Renovated Rooms: The rooms have been nicely renovated and are comfortable. Spacious Room and King Bed: The large room and king bed were a great relief after a long day of hiking.

The location is AMAZING! Next to all the restaurant and shops and just across the main bus stop you need to go everywhere in Banff. They have a pass for some of the lines as well. The bed was so comfortable I slept too much! The staff was super kind in terms of information! The bedroom was super clean!

Great location, right along the main drag and east access to some of the best facilities in the Banff townsite. Nice pillows (if a little small, but plentiful) and soft, comfortable bed. Check-in was fast and easy, and the underground parkade meant I had a warm and snow-free car when it was time to leave. I liked that the tub had a short rise so it was easy to step into the shower, should your knees not be the best anymore.
